Bills release SchobelFootball Betting Lines08/04/2010 - Pittsford, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Buffalo Bills have released veteran linebacker Aaron Schobel. The moves comes after the Bills announced Monday that Schobel was not in their plans for the 2010 season, though did not outright released him until Wednesday. Schobel has contemplated retirement this offseason, and while he has not come to a firm decision, he is now free to sign with another team should he decide to continue playing. Schobel has played for only Buffalo during his nine-year career, which began after the Bills selected him in the second round of the 2001 draft out of TCU. The 32-year-old had 10 sacks and 56 tackles in 16 games last season. In 133 career games, he has recorded 483 tackles, 78 sacks and three interceptions.
